Fungi, what are they?

Fungi are living organisms that are distantly related to plants, and more closely related to animals, but are rather different from either of those groups. Fungi include mushrooms, molds, yeasts, and thousands of other organisms. Rangeing from microscop[ic single-celled organisms, such as yeast, to gigantic multi cellular orgaisms. Such as a Goliath of a Honey Mushroom that is growing in an Oregon forest. Which is 3.5 miles across and goes about three feet down into the ground. And is the largest living thing on the planet.
